Chalet Zapfe is one of five linked chalets perched on the hillside overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the Jungfrau. Built just over 20 years ago it is in a modern style and has three bedrooms, a spacious L-shaped living and dining room, separate kitchen and large sun terrace.
The ten to twelve minute walk down from the centre of Wengen is spectacular - the views over the valley are stunning. If you prefer, instead of walking up to Wengen, you can catch the train at Wengwald station - a tiny request stop, just three hundred metres from the chalet and only a three minute journey up to Wengen. The choice is yours……….walk or train!
Skis and boots can be left in the Central Sport locker room next door to the cable car, and Trachsel Frischmarkt offer a free home delivery service, right to the front door, for your shopping.
